Coming to the Dzukou Valley and Japfu Peak Trek, you first have to reach Kohima from Dimapur. Owing to Dimapur is one and the only city which possesses the air and rail connectivity. From here your trek commences, you will be taken to the Dzukou Trekker’s Hut, Dzukou Valley, Vishwema Village, Japfu Peak Base via trekking.
Prior to planning a trek to the Dzukou valley, you must take an Inner Line Permit which can get from Nagaland House in Kolkata, Guwahati or Dimapur. Furthermore, you need to pay a basic entry fee of Rs 3o per person for entering the Szukou Valley.
